Here Comes A New Wave

Later this year, Google will unveil a new web based communication platform called Wave.  It combines all your favorite social networks with the speed and ease of instant messaging while upgrading the way you perceive of email and attachments.  Unlike email where your reply is stacked on top of earlier messages, Wave creates a timeline that flows linearly and can be played back anytime while being able to chat if your contact is still online.  Like blogging? Spark a conversation with a friend and publish it as a blog instantly.  Like Pictures? Have your friends drag and drop pictures from their reels into the conversation and create a slideshow instantly.  Not only is the interface extrodinary, but the approach to communicating makes so much sense.  All-in-one.  Instead of individuals sending information to each other, Wave brings people together at the same time and allows everyone to participate in parallel on a central server.

If this technology catches on it will revolutionize the way we all communicate with one-and-other.  It will combine the best of our communication applications and bring ideas to life more efficiantly. Google just may have created web 3.0.  Take a look.  http://wave.google.com/help/wave/about.html#video

Words are not enough

On my way to understanding the divine mystery of existence I found if one looks at themselves too long, one will lose sight of self and existence will seem meaningless.  My point being, look at the forest not the individual trees and you will see the bigger picture which is all of our lives.  My hope is through media creation I can convey a more diverse look at people and events that makeup our world and shed light on new perspectives that are all around us.
